By following this guide, you will learn how to limit comment length in WordPress.
Why should You Limit Comment Length?
In a recent research, experts have found that comments over 60 characters and below 5000 characters will be more helpful for a blog or website.
So, if someone writes a comment with a single word, it will not be useful for your WordPress blog. Most of the times single word comments are considered to be spam as the main aim of the commenter is getting a backlink from your website. Also, if a person writes a comment on more than 5000 words, it is normally a complaint and it might not suitable for your posts.
So, in order to improve the quality of comments, you should limit the comment length in WordPress. Let’s see how to limit comment length in WordPress.
