Picword is a freemium app specially designed for windows XP and Windows 7 which lets you set up a picture password to lock your PC. Follow the steps given below to download Picword and set picture password for Windows log on.
Steps To Set Picture Password In Windows 7:
Step 1: To get started, you need to download a third-party application Picword. To download the application visit vaptim.com.
Note: This app requires Java Runtime Environment. Make sure that it is installed or download and install it in your computer.
Step 2: Now click on Download For Windows XP/7/8 to download the application.
Step 3: Now the download will begin and the app will be downloaded within a min or two.
Step 4: Double click on the downloaded .exe file to start the installation. In the installation wizard’s welcome screen click “Next” to continue the installation.
Step 5: The next screen will prompt you to agree to the app license, select I agree with radio button and click “Next”.
Step 6: You can choose the directory location where the app needs to be installed on the next screen and once the path is selected click “Next”.
Step 7: And finally click “Start” to start the installation.
Step 8: On successful installation, launch the app and exit the installation wizard.
Step 9: In the app window, you can change the background picture and you can set the points to unlock your computer. There are three options like,
- A green button for single click
- A blue button for long click
- And finally, an orange button to connect two points
You can select the point as per your wish and launch the app to lock your windows 7 screen with a picture password.
