As a blogger, you have to do a lot of tasks, writing blog posts, optimizing ads, creating affiliate campaigns, connecting with fellow bloggers and replying readers’ emails. So, it’s always a tedious task to moderate comments.
If you are a blogger no matter what you are a newbie, you might have already seen a lot of nonsensical comments that provide no value to the content. I hope you know they are called spam.
People usually spam to promote their websites or earn backlinks. But it creates severe headaches for us by forcing us to dedicate a considerable amount of time to filter comments. If you show indifference towards the task, there is a greater chance for a valid comment to be lost.
So, today I am going to share how to block email address from commenting in WordPress. You can use this trick if you notice spam comments constantly from an email address.
How to Block Email Address from Commenting in WordPress
WordPress has been developed a lot. With each update, it gets new features. If you ask how to filter comments by domain, IP or email address a few years back, I would have told you to use a plugin. But now, you don’t have to make use of a plugin as this option comes inbuilt with WP.
Follow the steps given below to know how to block email address from commenting in WordPress.
