This article will help you to reply automatically to people who mailed you while you are in offline mode or on a vacation.
How To Setup Autoresponder For Gmail?:
Creating and Setting up of an autoresponder will only take a short time. i.e. less than a couple of minutes.
Step 1: Sign into your Gmail or Google Apps Account with your username and Password.
Step 2: Once you logged into your account, you can see a cog icon at the upper right corner. Click on the cog wheel and select “Settings”.
Step 3: Now, in General settings scroll down until you reach Vacation Responder.
Step 4: Next, turn on the radio button into Vacation responder on. Then set the first and last day of your vacation. If you are not sure when your vacation will end or if you are going away for a long time, then leave the last day check box empty!
Step 5: Now, you should include the subject and text message with some necessary information such as
- How long you will be on vacation or offline.
- When will you come back and respond to the email, etc.
Once the details have been written, you can either save the changes for responding to all incoming emails or tick the box next to “Only send a response to people in my Contacts” to reply only to people in your contact list.
Until the “Autoresponder” is on, Gmail or Google Apps email will automatically reply to all the business emails with the message you have written in your Autoresponder settings.
That’s it. Now you have successfully finished setting up Autoresponder for Gmail and you don’t worry about any business emails while you are on vacation. If you encounter any issues while following this tutorial do let me know via comments.
